Catalog Description
Using the Internet as a platform, this course will investigate strategies that can be used to help students in all areas learn easily and successfully. Large/small group strategies such as cooperative/collaborative learning, discovery or inquiry learning, direct instruction, and discussion (oracy in the curriculum) will be explored, as well as individual study strategies. Strategies that help "at risk" learners as well as those that support the "gifted" students will be investigated. Students will be required to complete assignments as indicated on the course web page and participate in a class discussion listserv.
