Career & Technical Education Courses
The University of Missouri-Columbia offers online courses designed for vocational-technical instructors. These semester-length courses let you study when it's convenient--without having to attend class! And you'll be able to network and share experiences with colleagues in other parts of the country.
Each of these courses can be taken for three hours of graduate or undergraduate credit.

Fall semester (August – December)
LTC (C&I-V) 4780/7780: Development and Assessment of Vocational-Technical Curriculum
This course is a professional industrial education course. It is designed to provide the opportunity to develop the background, techniques and procedures for the selection, organization and writing of subject matter for instructional purposes.
(3 credit hours)
Spring semester (January - May)
LTC (C&I-V) 4810/7810: Technology and Industry Education Methods
This course develops specialized organization and administration capabilities for Industrial and Technology Education. Topics include managing activities, individualized instruction, nontraditional students, students with disabilities, and emerging technologies.
