Labor Studies Program
The certificate program in Labor Studies consists of six courses (18 semester hours) developed in collaboration with the University of Missouri campuses at Columbia, Kansas City and St. Louis. The program is designed to meet the needs of union leaders and activists in addressing the dynamics of a changing political economy.
Courses will offer an interdisciplinary study on a wide range of issues relevant to those interested in labor and industrial relations policies. Courses comprising the certificate program are:
- Labor Law and Legislation
- Labor History
- Survey of Labor Studies
- Union Leadership and Administration
- Collective Bargaining
- Labor in the Global Economy
