HLTH PROF NonCredit: Lifestyle Management of Adult Obesity: An Overview

Description:

Obesity is recognized as one of the most significant health risks to individuals in America and in other countries as well. The health complications of obesity are well documented in the literature. However, the impact of specific interventions to reduce weight levels, lower caloric intake and increase physical activity are also well researched. This case study will assist the learner in gaining insight into current understanding of obesity and how planned lifestyle management can improve the health outcomes and quality of life for individuals coping with obesity.
