Demo Course - Blackboard

MU Direct uses a course management software system, Blackboard, for online courses. Blackboard offers interactive features designed to enhance learning and allow access to course materials anytime via the Internet.

A Blackboard site can provide a number of resources, including e-mail, chat and discussion tools, a course calendar, student access to grades, student Web sites, course syllabi, lecture materials, Wimba Voice Tools, and more.

We strongly recommend that you complete a demo course before your classes begin. You will be more successful in an online course if you become familiar with various parts of an online course site. Guests who are interested in learning how Blackboard work may also use the demo course.
