Purchasing textbooks
Students may purchase their course materials through the University Bookstore.

Availability
Textbooks are available approximately one month prior to the course start date. Check the University Bookstore web site frequently for textbook availability and updates. For your convenience, the bookstore web site lists required textbooks by semester and course. You will need to select the appropriate course number and section number to view the list of required textbooks for your course. Most textbooks for MU Direct-administered courses will be listed under the department heading “MU Direct.” Exceptions include: Nursing, Radiological Sciences and Respiratory Therapy.
* Place your order as early as possible to avoid delays in beginning your online course work.
International students
If your University Bookstore order is being shipped outside the continental United States, you will be contacted to discuss rates and shipping options to your location.
Used Book Classifieds
The Used Book Classifieds is a great place for students to post used books they wish to sell or buy used books.
If you have not registered with the University Bookstore, please register first, so that up-to-date contact information is available to others wishing to purchase books you are selling.
