Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Courses
The University of Missouri is a member of the Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance. Great Plains IDEA, founded in 1994, is an award-winning multi-state alliance, led by faculty members in the human sciences, as a means for sharing distance education courses and programs at the graduate level. Combining today's emerging technologies with program-based alliances, it connects students around the country and affords them the opportunity to be admitted to one member institution while also studying at other member universities via online courses.
