Congratulations to Mizzou’s Spring 2008 Online Degree Program Graduates!
On behalf of everyone at the University of Missouri, MU Direct: Continuing and Distance Education, and the Center for Distance and Independent Study, we congratulate you on your graduation from Mizzou! As part of an international network of more than 225,000 fellow graduates, you have every reason to be proud of this significant achievement.
By completing your degree at a distance, you join a growing percentage of MU students who choose to pursue their education in a nontraditional manner. Among master’s programs in particular, nearly a third of Mizzou’s enrollments are now in online courses.
As a nontraditional student, you have had to make many sacrifices to complete your education. To achieve this investment in your future, many of you have juggled full-time work, family commitments and community service activities. Take this moment to reflect on your accomplishments — and take pride in being a Tiger!
